Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Education Act, 2019 (Cap. 605), hereinafter referred to as "the Act",

the Minister responsible for education has established the following

dates as the dates on which the provisions of the same Act shall come

into force

(a) the 1st October 2021 with regard to all the provisions

thereof except

(i) article 71 of the Act which has already been

brought into force on 1st January 2021 by virtue of Legal

Notice 30 of 2021; and

(ii)

articles 46, 47, 48 and 64 of the Act; and

(b) the 2nd January 2022 with regard to the provisions of

article 64 of the Act.
