COMPETITION ACT AND THE MALTA COMPETITION AND

CONSUMER AFFAIRS AUTHORITY (AMENDMENT) ACT,

(ACT No. XLV of 2021)

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Competition Act and the Malta Competition and Consumer Affairs

Authority (Amendment) Act, 2021, the Minister for Tourism and

Consumer Protection together with the Parliamentary Secretary for

Consumer Protection and Public Cleansing, has established the 31st

August 2021 as the date on which all the provisions of the said Act

shall come into force.
