Facilitating Work Life for Individuals with
Disability Regulations, 2021
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 5 of the Malta
Enterprise Act, the Minister for Energy, Enterprise and Sustainable
Development, after consultation with the Malta Enterprise
Corporation, has made the following regulations:-
(1) The title of these regulations is Facilitating Work Life Citation and
commencement.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force
on 1 st July 2021.
In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires
Interpretation.
"Act" means the Malta Enterprise Act;
"Corporation" means Malta Enterprise Corporation as established
under the Act;
"Commission" means the Commission for the Rights of Persons
with Disability as established under article 21 of the Equal Cap. 413.
Opportunities (Persons with Disability) Act;
"disability" means a long-term physical, mental, intellectual or
sensory impairment which in interaction with various barriers may
hinder one’s full and effective participation in society on an equal
basis with others;
"Guidelines" means such guidelines as may be published by the
Corporation from time to time in terms of the Act.
Where the Corporation in collaboration with the Assistance to
Commission are satisfied that the undertaking is an eligible support
