EXPLOSIVES ORDINANCE

(CAP. 33)

Regulations on the Suspension of Courses for the Renewal of

Category "A", "B" and "C" Licences under the the Control of

Fireworks and other Explosives Regulations, 2021

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 22(1) of the

Explosives Ordinance, the Minister responsible for the police has

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Regulations on the

Suspension of Courses for the Renewal of Category "A", "B" and "C"

Licences under the Control of Fireworks and other Explosives

Regulations, 2021.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires

"regulations" means the Control of Fireworks and other

Explosives Regulations.

Notwithstanding the provisions of sub-regulations (7) and

(8) of regulation 4 of the regulations, no refresher courses, oral tests,

interviews, or written tests shall be held during the year 2021, and

refresher courses and tests scheduled for the year 2021 shall be held in

the year 2022, and those scheduled for the year 2022 shall be held in

the year 2023.

Notwithstanding the provisions of sub-regulations (3B) and

(6A) of regulation 4 of the regulations, holders of licences of

Categories "A", "B" and "C" in line with regulation 3 shall have their

licences renewed by an additional one year, provided that they fulfil all

other conditions at law, until such time as their refresher course, oral

test, interview or written test is held and results notified.
