Limitation of Emissions of Certain Atmospheric Pollutants

(Amendment) Regulations, 2021

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 54 and 55 of

the Environment Protection Act, the Minister for Environment,

Climate Change, and Planning, after consultation with the

Environment and Resources Authority, has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Limitation of Emissions Citation.

and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Limitation of Emissions of Certain Atmospheric Pollutants S.L. 549. 124.

regulations shall be substituted by the following new item

"4. Emissions from road transport shall be calculated and

reported on the basis of the fuels sold in Malta. In addition,

emissions from road transport may also be reported and

calculated on the basis of fuels used for kilometres driven in

Malta.".
