Closure of Schools (Amendment) Order, 2021

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 27(c) of the

Public Health Act, the Minister responsible for public health, after

consultation with the Superintendent of Public Health, has made the

following regulations

Reg. 1 Title. — Closure of Schools (Amendment) Order, 2021 Open official source

The title of this order is the Closure of Schools

(Amendment) Order, 2021 and this order shall be read and construed

L.N. 97 of 2021. as one with the Closure of Schools Order, hereinafter referred to as the

"principal order".

Reg. 2 Amends article 3 of the principal order. — Closure of Schools (Amendment) Order, 2021 Open official source

Immediately after the second proviso of article 3 of the

principal order, there shall be added the following new proviso

"Provided further that the Superintendent of Public

Health may, in exercising her discretion, and subject to any

condition that she deems necessary, authorize the opening of

Government child care centres to render services of an essential

nature.".
