Electronic Communications Networks and Services (General)
(Amendment) Regulations, 2021
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 34 and 47 of
the Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act, the Minister for the
Economy and Industry, after consultation with the Malta
Communications Authority, has made the following regulations:-
(1) The title of these regulations is the Electronic
commencement.
Communications Networks and Services (General) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2021 and these regulations shall be read and construed as
one with the Electronic Communications Networks and Services
(General) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal
regulations".
(2) These regulations shall be deemed come into force on the
21 st December 2020.
In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 85A of the principal
regulations, the words "which is made available on the market for sale
or rent" shall be substituted by the words "which is placed on the
market for sale or rent".
