MALTESE CITIZENSHIP ACT

Publication of Names of Citizens of Malta and Persons Deprived of

Maltese Citizenship (Amendment) Regulations, 2021

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 24 of the

Maltese Citizenship Act, the President has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Publication of Names of

Citizens of Malta and Persons Deprived of Maltese Citizenship

(Amendment) Regulations, 2021 and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Publication of Names of Citizens of

2020. Malta and Persons Deprived of Maltese Citizenship Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations shall be amended

as follows

(a) the words "for Exceptional Services Regulations:"

shall be substituted by the words "for Exceptional Services

Regulations."; and

(b)

the proviso thereof shall be deleted.

Regulation 4 of the principal regulations shall be amended

as follows

(a) the words "of a notice in the Gazette:" shall be

substituted by the words "of a notice in the Gazette."; and

(b)

the proviso thereof shall be deleted.
