Local Government Act

(Amendment of Twelfth Schedule) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 72 of the Local

Government Act, the Minister responsible for National Heritage, The

Arts and Local Government has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Local Government Act

(Amendment of Twelfth Schedule) Regulations, 2020, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Twelfth

Schedule to the Local Government Act, hereinafter referred to as "the

Twelfth Schedule".

In the Maltese version of Protocol 16.2 (a) of the Twelfth

Schedule the words "il-persuna trid tkun ħajja" shall be substituted by

the words "il-persuna tista’ tkun ħajja jew mejta".
