Issue of Permits by Local Councils Regulations, 2020
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 16 of the
Trading Licences Act, the Minister responsible for Local Government,
after consultation with the Minister responsible for Commerce, has
made the following regulations:-

Reg. 2 Suspension of stalls in open air markets. — Issue of Permits by Local Councils Regulations, 2020

Until new regulations are issued, the placement of stalls in
open air markets is suspended with the exception of stalls that sell food
products, which stalls should be placed at a distance of twenty (20)
metres from one stall to another.
