ACCOUNTANCY PROFESSION ACT

(CAP. 281)

Recognition of the Malta Institute of Accountants

Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 8(1)(c) and 9

of the Accountancy Profession Act, the Minister for Finance and

Financial Services, on the recommendation of the Accountancy Board,

has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Recognition of the Citation and

commencement.

Malta Institute of Accountants Regulations, 2020.

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on 1 January 2020.

In these regulations, unless the context otherwise requires

"the Act" means the Accountancy Profession Act; and

"the Institute" means the Malta Institute of Accountants.

(1) The Minister for finance hereby recognises the Malta Recognition of

Institute of Accountants as an approved accountancy body for approved
