Local Enforcement System (Establishment as an Agency)

(Amendment) Order, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 26 of the

Public Administration Act, the Prime Minister with the concurrence of

the Minister for Home Affairs, National Security and Law Enforcement,

has made the following order:-

The title of this order is Local Enforcement System

(Establishment as an Agency) (Amendment) Order, 2020 and this

order shall be read and construed as one with the Local Enforcement

System (Establishment as an Agency) Order, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal order".

Article 2 of principal order, shall be amended as follows

(a) the definition "Minister" thereof, shall be substituted

by the following new definition

""Minister" means the Minister responsible for the

Local Enforcement System Agency;"; and

(b) the definition "Permanent Secretary" thereof, shall be

substituted by the following new definition

""Permanent Secretary" means the Permanent

Secretary in the Ministry responsible for the Local

Enforcement System Agency.".

Article 4 of the principal order, shall be substituted by the

following new article

" Responsibility of

The Prime Minister may assign

responsibility for the Local Enforcement System

Agency to any Minister and its supervision to the

Permanent Secretary of that Minister.".
