Period of Quarantine Order, 2020

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 27(c) of the

Public Health Act, the Superintendent of Public Health has made the

following order

The title of this order is the Period of Quarantine Order,

2020.

(1) The Superintendent of Public Health hereby orders

that any person arriving in Malta from any of the countries listed in

sub-article (3) must submit himself to a fourteen (14) day period of

quarantine immediately upon his arrival in Malta.

(2) This order shall apply also to persons who live in the same

residence as the person referred to in sub-article (1).

(3) The countries to which this order refers are the following

Italy

(b)

Switzerland

(c)

France

(d)

Germany

(e)

Spain

(f)

China, including Hong Kong

(g)

Singapore

(h)

Japan

(i)

Iran

(j)

South Korea

Provided that the Superintendent of Public Health may, at

his discretion, increase or reduce this list by notice in the

Gazette.
