STATE ADVOCATE ACT

(ACT No. XXV of 2019)

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) and (3) of

the State Advocate Act, 2020 the Minister for Justice, Equality and

Governance has established the 1 st October 2020 as the date on which

article 31 of the State Advocate Act incorporating article 3 of the

Attorney General Ordinance shall come into force. This coming into

force shall be subject to the provisions and limitations established by the

Prosecution of Offences (Transitory Provisions) Regulations, 2020 and

for all intents and purposes of law shall be deemed to form part of the
