Nuclear Safety (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 62 of the

Nuclear Safety and Radiation Protection Act, the Minister for Tourism

and Consumer Protection has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Nuclear Safety Citation.

(Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Nuclear Safety Regulations, hereinafter S.L. 585. 02.

referred to as "the principal regulations".

Immediately after sub-regulation (2) of regulation 9 of the Amends

principal regulations there shall be added the following new sub- regulation

"(3) The Commission shall participate in any topical peer

review related to nuclear safety of relevant nuclear installations

of Member States of the European Union.".
