Animal Health Problems Affecting Intra-Community Trade in

Bovine Animals and Swine (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 8 of the

Veterinary Services Act, the Minister for Agriculture, Fisheries and

Animal Rights has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Animal Health Problems

Affecting Intra-Community Trade in Bovine Animals and Swine

(Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Animal Health Problems Affecting

Intra-Community Trade in Bovine Animals and Swine Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 3 of the principal

regulations, the words "in these regulations are sent from the Maltese

territory to that of another Member State" shall be substituted by the

words "in these regulations may be moved from the place of birth".
