Organised Public Mass Events (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 26 and 27(c)

of the Public Health Act, the Minister responsible for public health,

after consultation with the Superintendent of Public Health, has made

the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Organised Public

commencement.

Mass Events (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these regulations

shall be read and construed as one with the Organised Public Mass

2020. Events Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the "principal

regulations".

These regulations shall come into force on the 8 th August

In the first proviso to regulation 2 of the principal

regulations, the words "Malta Tourism Authority." shall be substituted

by the words "Malta Tourism Authority:" and immediately thereafter

there shall be added the following new provisos

"Provided further that the number of attendees for an

organised public mass event shall not exceed one hundred (100)

persons inside the venue and three hundred (300) persons outside

the venue

Provided further that the use of dance floors shall be

prohibited in organised public mass events.".
