ACCOUNTANCY PROFESSION ACT

(CAP. 281)

Accountancy Profession (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 8 and 8A of

the Accountancy Profession Act, the Minister for Finance and

Financial Services, on the recommendation of the Accountancy Board,

has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Accountancy Citation and

Profession (Amendment) Regulations, 2020, and these regulations commencement.

shall be read and construed as one with the Accountancy Profession S.L. 281. 01.

(2) These regulations implement certain requirements arising

from the Devolution of Certain Ministerial Powers Act, 2020.

(3) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on 30 th June 2020.

Minister" shall be deleted; and

(e) in sub-regulation (9) thereof, the words "Where an

applicant is refused a warrant by the Minister or where" shall be

substituted by the words "Where a warrant or".
