Repealing Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 26 and 27(c)

of the Public Health Act, the Minister responsible for public health, in

concurrence with the Superintendent of Public Health, has made the

following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Repealing Citation and

commencement.

Regulations, 2020.

These regulations shall come into force on the 5 th of June,

The orders and regulations listed hereunder, issued under Revocation.

the Public Health Act, are hereby being repealed

(a)

Closure of Places Open to the Public Order;

(b) Enforcement of the Order relating to Closure of S.L. 465. 24.

Places Open to the Public Regulations;

(c) Closure of Non-Essential Retail Outlets and Outlets S.L. 465.27.

Providing Non-essential Services Order;

(d) Enforcement of the order relating to Closure of Non- S.L. 465.28.

Essential Retail Outlets and Outlets Providing Non-Essential

Services Regulations;

(e)

Protection of Vulnerable Persons Order;

(f)

Number of Persons in Public Spaces (Increase in S.L. 465.41.

Number of Persons) Order; and

(g)

Closure of the Local Tribunals Order

Provided that

(a) any legal, judicial or administrative time-

limit for the filing of any acts before the local

tribunals, suspended by the above order hereby

repealed, shall remain so suspended for a period of

twenty (20) days from the date of coming into force

of these regulations;

(b) any service of summons, suspended by

the above Order hereby repealed, shall remain so

suspended until a period of ten (10) days from the

date of coming into force of these regulations.

Any act, decision or action taken before the coming into

force of the Repealing Regulations, 2020 shall remain to be regulated

by provisions of the regulations and orders as in force prior to the

2020. coming into force of the Repealing Regulations, 2020.
