Closure of Schools (Amendment) Order, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 27(c) of the

Public Health Act, the Superintendent of Public Health has made the

following order:-

(1) The title of this order is the Closure of Schools

commencement.

(Amendment) Order, 2020 and this order shall be read and construed

as one with the Closure of Schools Order, herein after referred to as the

"principal order".

This order shall come into force on the 5 th June, 2020.

In regulation 2 of the principal order, the definition

"school" shall be substituted by the following new definition

" "school" means

(a)

kindergarten centres;

(b)

Colleges;

(c)

Sixth Forms/Higher Secondaries;

(d)

the University of Malta;

(e)

other tertiary educational institutions;

(f)

further and higher educational institution.".
