Authorisation of Frequency Use (Provision of 2GHz Mobile

Satellite Services) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 47 of the

Electronic Communications (Regulation) Act, The Minister

responsible for communications, on the recommendation of the Malta

Communications Authority after consultation with the Minister of

Finance, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Authorisation of

Frequency Use (Provision of 2GHz Mobile Satellite Services)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Authorisation of Frequency Use

(Provision of 2GHz Mobile Satellite Services) Regulations, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal regulations".

In the definition "selected applicants" in sub-regulation (2)

of regulation 2 of the principal regulations the words "Inmarsat

Ventures Limited, a company incorporated in England and Wales with

number 03674573" shall be substituted by the words "Inmarsat

Ventures SE, a company incorporated in Luxembourg with number

B232365".

In paragraph (a) of sub-regulation (2) of regulation 3 of the

principal regulations, the words "Inmarsat Ventures Limited" shall be

substituted by the words "Inmarsat Ventures SE".
