Recognition of Professional Qualifications

(Amendment) Regulations, 2020

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 8 of the Mutual

Recognition of Qualifications Act, the Minister for Education and

Employment has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Recognition of

Professional Qualifications (Amendment) Regulations, 2020 and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Recognition of

Professional Qualifications Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

In sub-regulation (1) of regulation 5B of the principal

regulations, immediately after the words "remotely and by electronic

means" there shall be added the words "through the relevant point of

single contact or the relevant competent authorities".
