Local Tribunals (Delivery of Summons) (Amendment)
Regulations, 2020
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 6 and 13 of
the Commissioners for Justice Act, the Minister for Justice, Equality
and Governance has made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Local Tribunals Citation.
(Delivery of Summons) (Amendment) Regulations, 2020, and these
regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Local Tribunals S.L. 291. 01.
(Delivery of Summons) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the
"principal regulations".
Regulation 2 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends
regulation 2 of

(a)
paragraph (i) of the definition "last registered
address", shall be substituted by the following new paragraph
"(i) in relation to a person, the address shown on the
identity document of such person;";
(b) immediately before the definition "community
officers", there shall be added the following new definition
" "the Agency" means the Local Enforcement
System Agency established by the Local Enforcement
System (Establishment as an Agency) Order;";
(c) immediately after the definition "household" there
shall be added the following new definitions
"identity document" shall have the same meaning as
assigned to it in the Identity Card and other Identity
Documents Act;
"Identity Malta Agency" means the Agency
established
by
the
Identity
Malta
Agency
(Establishment) Order;".
