Registration and Appeal of Persons with Disability
(Amendment) Regulations, 2019
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 7, 8, 16, 20
and 26 of the Persons with Disability (Employment) Act, the Minister
for Education and Employment has made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Registration and Citation.
Appeal of Persons with Disability (Amendment) Regulations, 2019,
and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the
Registration and Appeal of Persons with Disability Regulations, S.L. 210.01.

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends

(a)
in sub-regulation (1) thereof, the words "in the form
set out in the First Schedule" shall be deleted;
(b) in sub-regulation (2) thereof, the words "in the form
set out in the Second Schedule" shall be deleted; and
(c)
sub-regulation (3) thereof shall be substituted by the
following
"(3) Any person applying to have his name
entered in the register shall fill in the relevant application
and provide any supporting documentation mentioned
therein.".
Regulation 5 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends

as follows

(a)
the words "or retained" shall be deleted;
(b) paragraphs (a), (d), (e) and (f) thereof shall be
deleted; and;
(c)
paragraphs (b), (c) and (g) thereof shall be re-
numbered as paragraphs (a), (b) and (c) respectively.
