Part-Time Employment of Persons with Disability

(Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 7, 8, 16, 20

and 26 of the Persons with Disability (Employment) Act, the Minister

for Education and Employment has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Part-Time Employment

of Persons with Disability (Amendment) Regulations, 2019, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Part-Time

Employment of Persons with Disability of Persons with Disability

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Sub-regulation (1) of regulation 2 of the principal

regulations shall be amended as follows

(a)

paragraph (a) thereof shall be substituted by the

following

"(a) a person whose employment is registered as

part-time shall be counted as one-half of a unit;"; and

(b) paragraph (b) thereof shall be substituted by the

following

"(b) a person whose employment is registered as

full-time reduced shall be counted as one-half of a unit;".
