Presidents of the Regions, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Local

Councillors and Presidents of the Associations’ Allowances

(Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 72 of the Local

Government Act, the Minister responsible for Justice, Culture and

Local Government, has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Presidents of the

commencement.

Regions, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Local Councillors and Presidents of

the Associations’ Allowances (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 and

they shall be read and construed as one with the Presidents of the

Regions, Mayors, Deputy Mayors, Local Councillors and Presidents of

the Associations’ Allowances Regulations, hereinafter referred to as

"the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

as from the 1st July 2019.

Regulations 3 and 4 of the principal regulations, shall be

deleted.

Regulation 5 of the principal regulations shall be

renumbered as regulation 3 and shall be substituted by the following
