Appointments and Conditions of Service of the

Regular Force (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the Malta

Armed Forces Act, the President of Malta has made the following

regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Appointments and

Conditions of Service of the Regular Force (Amendment) Regulations,

2019 and these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the

Appointments and Conditions of Service of the Regular Force

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Point B. of sub-regulation (1) of regulation 6 of the

principal regulations shall be amended as follows

(a) sub-paragraph (iii) thereof shall be substituted by the

following

"(iii) Any other non-combatant officer in possession

of a warrant to practise a profession relevant to the service,

as the Commander may from time to time determine

Provided that such officer shall not be capable

of being promoted to a rank equal to or exceeding that

applicable to the head of the Branch or Section where he

performs his duties."; and

(b)

sub-paragraph (iv) thereof shall be deleted.
