Simplifying Terms and Conditions of Transfers of

Defence-Related Products (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 3 of the

Supplies and Services Act, the Minister for the Economy, Investment

and Small Business, in concurrence with the Minister for Home

Affairs and National Security, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Simplifying Terms and Citation.

Conditions of Transfers of Defence-Related Products (Amendment)

Regulations, 2019 and these regulations shall be read and construed as

one with the Simplifying Terms and Conditions of Transfers of S.L. 117.32

Defence-Related Products Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

Regulation 2 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends

regulation 2 of

as follows

the principal

regulations.

(a) paragraphs (f) and (g) thereof shall be substituted by

the following

"(f) Commission Directive 2017/433/EU of 7th

March 2017 amending Directive 2009/43/EC of the

European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list

of defence-related products;

(g) Commission Directive 2017/2054 of 8th

November 2017 amending Directive 2009/43/EC of the

European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list

of defence-related products; and"; and

(b) immediately after paragraph (g) thereof there shall be

added the following new paragraph

"(h) Commission Directive (EU) 2019/514 of 14

March 2019 amending Directive 2009/43/EC of the

European Parliament and of the Council as regards the list

of defence-related products.".

The Schedule to the principal regulations shall be

substituted by the following

"SCHEDULE

LIST OF DEFENCE-RELATED PRODUCTS

"The Annex of Commission Directive (EU) 2019/514 shall be

applicable in its entirety as the Schedule to these regulations.".
