ANIMAL WELFARE (AMENDMENT) ACT, 2019

(ACT No. XXII of 2019)

Commencement Notice

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Animal Welfare (Amendment) Act, 2019, the Minister for the

Environment, Sustainable Development and Climate Change, in

conjunction with the Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture,

Fisheries and Animal Rights, has established the 29th of November,

2019 as the date on which articles 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, and 8 of the same Act

shall come into force.
