Local Councils (Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 72 of the Local

Government Act, the Minister responsible for Justice, Culture and

Local Government has made the following regulations:-

Reg. 1 Citation. — Local Councils (Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 Open official source

The title of these regulations is the Local Councils

(Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019, and these regulations

shall be read and construed as one with the Local Councils (Financial)

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Reg. 2 Amends regulation 23 of the principal regulations. — Local Councils (Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2019 Open official source

In paragraph (a) of sub-regulation 1 of regulation 23 of the

principal regulations the words "expenditure costing fifty (50) euro or

over in the aggregate;" shall be substituted by the words "expenditure

exceeding fifty (50) euro in the aggregate, which amount shall include

taxes;".
