Social Security Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule)
Regulations, 2019
IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 84 of the Social
Security Act, the Minister for the Family, Children’s Rights and
Social Solidarity, with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance, has
made the following regulations:-
The title of these regulations is the Social Security Act
(Amendment of Fifth Schedule) Regulations, 2019, and these
regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Fifth Schedule
to the Social Security Act, hereinafter referred to as "the Fifth
Schedule".
In point 9 of Part II of the Fifth Schedule, under the
heading "Endocrine Diseases", immediately after paragraph "(i)
Pituitary Adenomas" there shall be added the following new
paragraph
"(j)
Benign Prostatic Enlargement".
In point 12 of Part II of the Fifth Schedule, under the
heading "Rheumatic Diseases", the words "Seronegative Arthritis" in
paragraph (g) shall be substituted by the words "spondyloarthritis".
