Business Hours Regulations (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 17 of the

Trading Licences Act, the Minister for the Economy, Investment and

Small Business, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Business Hours Citation.

(Amendment) Regulations, 2019 and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Business Hours Regulations, hereinafter S.L. 441.08.

referred to as "the principal regulations".

Regulation 6 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends

regulation 6 of

as follows

regulations.

(a) in sub-regulation (1) thereof, for the words "the

provisions of the Schedule," there shall be substituted the words

"the provisions of the First Schedule,"; and

(b) in paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (4) thereof,

immediately after the words "with the exception of the

designated areas in Buġibba, Qawra and Paceville," there shall

be added the words "as provided in the Third Schedule.".

In item 12.1 of the First Schedule to the principal Amends the

regulations, for the words "Marsaxlokk Xatt is-Sajjieda Sunday First

to the principal

30a.m. to 6.00p.m.," there shall be substituted the words regulations.

"Marsaxlokk Xatt is-Sajjieda and Triq it-Torri Vendome Sunday

6.30a.m. to 6.00p.m.".

4. Immediately after the Second Schedule to the principal Adds a new

schedule to the

regulations, there shall be added the following new schedule
