CONDUCT CERTIFICATES ORDINANCE

(CAP. 77)

Conduct Certificates Ordinance (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 10 of the

Conduct Certificates Ordinance, the Minister for Home Affairs and

National Security has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Conduct Certificates

Ordinance (Amendment) Regulations, 2019, and these regulations

shall be read and construed as one with the Conduct Certificates

Ordinance, hereinafter referred to as "the Ordinance".

In the Fourth Schedule to the Ordinance, immediately

before the item

"The Public Service Commission, in respect of any person

who is employed in the public service or who is a candidate for

employment in the public service."

there shall be added the following new item

"The Council for the Teaching Profession in Malta,

established by the Education Act (Cap. 327) or any other

regulatory body established by law to regulate educators’

professions, in respect of any person who applies to hold a

warrant of an educator as defined by the Education Act or any

other law regulating the Council.".
