Inspection of Lifts (Amendment) Regulations, 2019

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 38 and 39 of

the Product Safety Act, the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local

Government on the advice of the Director General (Technical

Regulations) has made the following regulations: -

The title of these regulations is the Inspection of Lifts Title.

(Amendment) Regulations, 2019, and these regulations shall be read

and construed as one with the Inspection of Lifts Regulations, S.L. 427.63.

Regulation 3 of the principal regulations shall be amended Amends

"Director General" means the Director

by article 19 of the Malta Competition and

to the extent of the authority given, any officer

authorised by him, in writing, to act in that

capacity for any of the purposes of these

Regulations;".

offence under these regulations

Provided that criminal actions for
