Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) and (3)

of the Code of Organization and Civil Procedure (Amendment) Act,

2018, the Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government has

appointed the 9th April 2018 as the date when sub-paragraphs (i), (ii),

(iii) and (iv) of paragraph (b) article 21 of the said Act shall come into

force

Provided that all causes being heard, but which are not adjourned

for judgement before the Civil Court First Hall in its general

jurisdiction and which relate to matters regulated by the Companies Act

shall, as from the 9th April, 2018 continue to be heard by the Civil

Court (Commercial Section).
