Local Councils (Procurement) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 72 of the Local

Councils Act, the Minister responsible for Justice, Culture and Local

Government, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Local Councils

(Procurement) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018, and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Local Councils (Procurement)

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

Immediately after regulation 3 of the principal regulations,

there shall be added the following new regulation

The Appeals Board as established in the

"Transitory

Provision.

Local Councils (Tendering) Regulations, shall hear and

decide those appeals which were lodged and presented

before it, which appeals were lodged and presented

until the 1st January, 2018 and which were not decided

until the aforementioned date.".
