Duty on Donations of Marketable Securities and Immovable
Property Used for Business (Exemption) (Amendment) Order, 2018
IN EXERCISE of the powers vested in him by article 23 of the
Duty on Documents and Transfers Act, the Minister responsible for
Finance has made the following Order:-
The title of this Order is the Duty on Donations of
Marketable Securities and Immovable Property Used for Business
(Exemption) (Amendment) Order, 2018, and this Order shall be read
and construed as one with the Duty on Donations of Marketable
Securities and Immovable Property Used for Business (Exemption)
Order, hereinafter referred to as the "principal Order".
In article 3 of the principal Order for the words "on or after
the 1st April 2017 but prior to 1st April 2018.", there shall be
substituted the words "on or after the 1st April 2017 but prior to 1st
October 2018.".
In the proviso to article 4(1) of the principal Order for the
words "on or before 31st May 2018." there shall be substituted the
words "on or before 30th September 2018".
