Social Security Act (Amendment of Fifth Schedule)

Regulations, 2018

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred upon him by article 84 of

the Social Security Act, the Minister for the Family, Children’s Rights

and Social Solidarity, with the concurrence of the Minister for Finance,

has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Social Security Act

(Amendment of Fifth Schedule) Regulations, 2018, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Fifth Schedule

to the Social Security Act, hereinafter referred to as "the Fifth

Schedule".

In Part II of the Fifth Schedule, immediately after the

heading "(16) Chromosomal disorder" there shall be added the

following new heading

"(17) Gender Identity and Sex Characteristics Related

Conditions".
