Local Councils (Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 72 of the

Local Councils Act, the Minister responsible for Justice, Culture and

Local Government has made the following regulations:-

(1)

The title of these regulations is the Local Councils

(Financial) (Amendment) Regulations, 2018, and they shall be read

and construed as one with the Local Councils (Financial)

Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on such date as the

Minister may by notice in the Gazette establish.

Immediately after the definition "human resources

procedures" there shall be added the following new definition

" "invoice" means any bill issued by any provider of goods

or services to any local authority and includes also an electronic

invoice as regulated by the Electronic Invoicing in Public

Procurement Regulations, 2018.".
