Recognition of Professional Qualifications (Amendment)

Regulations, 2018

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 8 of the Mutual

Recognition of Qualifications Act, the Minister for Education and

Employment, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Recognition of

Professional Qualifications (Amendment) Regulations, 2018 and they

shall be read and construed as one with the Recognition of

Professional Qualifications Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the

"principal regulations".

Regulation 6F (1) (c) of the principal regulations shall be

substituted by the following

"(c) the professional activity can objectively be separated

from other activities falling under the regulated profession in

Malta; provided that for this purpose the designated authority

shall take into account whether the professional activity can be

pursued autonomously in the home State.".
