Public Procurement (Amendment No. 3) Regulations, 2018

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 4 of the

Financial Administration and Audit Act, the Minister for Finance, has

made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Public Procurement

(Amendment No. 3) Regulations, 2018, and these regulations shall be

read and construed as one with the Public Procurement Regulations,

hereinafter referred to as the "principal regulations".

Schedule 1 of the principal regulations shall be amended as

(a) for the words "Building and Engineering" thereof,

there shall be substituted the words" Lands Authority";

(b) for the words "Construction and Maintenance"

thereof, there shall be substituted the words "Building

Regulation Board";

(c) for the words "Project Design and Implementation

Department" thereof, there shall be substituted the words "Works

and Infrastructure Department";

(d) for the words "Strategy and Support Division" thereof,

there shall be substituted the words "Strategy and Support

Services Division";

(e) for the words "Services Division" thereof, there shall

be substituted the words "Property Malta Foundation";

(f) for the words "Manufacturing and Services" thereof,

there shall be substituted the words "Office of the Chief

Information Officer (MTIP)";

(g) the words "Government Property Division" thereof,

shall be deleted;

(h) immediately after the words "Projects and

development Directorate" thereof, there shall be added the words

"(Gozo)";

(i) immediately after the words "Institute for Education"

thereof, there shall be added the words

Schedule 2 of the principal regulations shall be amended as Amends

(e) the words "Strategy and Support Division" thereof,

shall be deleted;

(f)

the words "Services Division" thereof, shall be

deleted;

(g) the words "Building Industry Consultative Council"

thereof, shall be deleted;

(h) the words "Manufacturing and Services" thereof,

shall be deleted;

(i)

the words "Land Registry" thereof, shall be deleted;

(j)

the words "Planning Authority" thereof, shall be

deleted;

(k) the words "Government Property Division" thereof,

shall be deleted;

(l)

the words "Joint Office" thereof, shall be deleted; and

(m) immediately after the words "Central Procurement

Supplies Unit" thereof, there shall be added the words
