VARIOUS FINANCIAL SERVICES LAWS

(AMENDMENT) ACT, 2018

(ACT XXVI of 2018)

Commencement Notice

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 1(2) of the

Various Financial Services Laws (Amendment) Act, 2018, the Minister

responsible for the regulation of Financial Services has established the

following commencement dates in respect of the following Parts of the

said Act, as follows

(a) the 20th July, 2018 as the date when the provisions of

articles 3 and 7(a)(xvi) of Part I, article 61(g) of Part II, and Part

III, shall come into force; and

(b) the 1 st October, 2018 as the date when the provisions

of Part I and Part II, other than the provisions thereof specified in

paragraph (a), shall come into force.
