Gender-Based Violence and Domestic Violence Act, 2018
(Act XIII of 2018)
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 4(1)(i) and (k) of
the Statute Law Revision Act, 1980, the Law Commission has made
the following correction
In the Maltese version of the Gender-Based Violence and
Domestic Violence Act, 2018, in paragraph (ar) of article 24 thereof,
which substitutes article 412C of the Criminal Code, the words
"quddiem il-Qorti tal-Maġistrati kemm bħala Qorti ta’ inkjesta kif ukoll
2018. bħala Qorti ta’ ġudikatura kriminali" shall be substituted by the words
2018. "quddiem il-Qorti tal-Maġistrati kemm bħala Qorti istruttorja kif ukoll
bħala Qorti ta’ ġudikatura kriminali".
The Minister for Justice, Culture and Local Government
has appointed the 14th May, 2018, as the date on which the correction
made by the Law Commission and published by this Legal Notice
shall be deemed to have come into force.
