Gozo Passenger and Goods Service (Fares) (Amendment)

Regulations, 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 6(2)(b) of the

Authority for Transport in Malta Act, the Minister for Transport and

Infrastructure, after consultation with the Authority for Transport in

Malta, has made the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Gozo Passenger and

Goods Service (Fares) (Amendment) Regulations, 2017, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Gozo

Passenger and Goods Service (Fares) Regulations, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal regulations".

In the Second Schedule to the principal regulations, for the

words "*up to 5 metres in length" there shall be substituted the words

"*up to 5.3 metres in length".

In the Third Schedule to the principal regulations, for the

words "(under 5 metres in length)" there shall be substituted the

words "(under 5.3 metres in length)".

The Fourth Schedule to the principal regulations shall be

amended as follows

(a)

in item 1 thereof, for the words "Length overall of

vehicle 5 metres" there shall be substituted the words "Length

overall of vehicle 5.3 metres";

(b) in item 2 thereof, for the words "exceeding 5

metres" there shall be substituted the words "exceeding 5.3

metres"; and

(c)

in item 8 thereof, for the words "under five (5)

metres" there shall be substituted the words "under five point

three (5.3) metres".

metri punt tlieta (5.3)".
