Arms Act (Amendment of Schedules I and III) Regulations, 2017

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 65 of the Arms

Act, the Minister for Home Affairs and National Security, has made

the following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Arms Act (Amendment

of Schedules I & III) Regulations, 2017, and these regulations shall be

read and construed as one with Schedule I and Schedule III to the Arms

Act, hereinafter referred to as "Schedule I" and "Schedule III".

Schedule I of the Arms Act shall be amended as follows

(a)

in item 6 in Part I thereof, the words "50cm" shall be

substituted by the words "45cm";

(b) item 6 in Part II thereof shall be substituted by the

following item

"6.

All forms of tear gas.".

Item 5 of Schedule III of the Arms Act shall be deleted.
