Civil Protection (Discipline and Association)

(Amendment) Regulations, 2017

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by articles 7 and 8(5) of

the Civil Protection Act, the Minister responsible for Civil Protection

has made the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Civil Protection

(Discipline and Association) (Amendment) Regulations, 2017, and

these regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Civil

Protection (Discipline and Association) Regulations, hereinafter

referred to as "the principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall come into force on such a date as

the Minister responsible for Civil Protection may, by notice in the

Gazette, establish and different dates may be so established for

different provisions or different purposes of these regulations.

Paragraph (c) of sub-regulation (4) of regulation 7 of the

principal regulations shall be substituted by the following new

paragraph

"(c) dedicate their whole time to the service of the

Department and shall not carry on any other work unless prior

permission in writing has been obtained from the Director;".
