Fees Payable for Lost or Destroyed Documents Regulations, 2017

IN EXERCISE of the powers conferred by article 25 of the

Refugees Act, the Minister responsible for Immigration has made the

following regulations:-

The title of these regulations is the Fees Payable for Lost Title.

or Destroyed Documents Regulations, 2017.

No charge whatsoever shall be imposed upon the first No fees.

Commissioner

(a)

an application form;

(b)

decision paper;

(c)

interview transcript;

(d)

asylum seekers’ document;

(e)

other paper documents; or

(f)

protection certificate (card).

There shall be paid in respect of each item, and under the Fees.

conditions outlined below, the following fees

(a)

Issue of an application form in replacement of the

first application form which has been lost or destroyed

Issue of a decision paper in replacement of the first

decision paper which has been lost or destroyed

(c)

Issue of an interview transcript in replacement of

the first interview transcript which has been lost or destroyed

(d)

Issue of an asylum seekers’ document in

replacement of the first asylum seekers’ document which has

been lost or destroyed ...........................................................€5

(e)

Issue of other paper documents in replacement of

other first issued paper documents which have been lost or

destroyed ......................................................... €5 per document

(f)

Issue of a protection certificate (card) in

replacement of the first protection certificate (card) which has

been lost or destroyed ..........................................................€5
