Regulations, 2017

BY VIRTUE of the powers conferred by article 38 of the

Environment Protection Act, the Minister for Sustainable

Development, the Environment and Climate Change, after

consultation with the Environment and Resources Authority, has

made the following regulations:-

Description of the property referred to in regulation 2

and appointed day

With effect from the 4th April 2016 the temporary utile

dominium for the remaining period from the original term of ninety-

nine (99) years, which commenced on seventh (7th) October one

thousand nine hundred and ninety-two (1992) of the block of

buildings, without official number, known as "Hexagon House",

formerly known as "Lohombus Bank" situate at Marsa, at times also

referred to as Blata l-Bajda, accessible both from Spencer Gardens

and also from the part of Patri Bilocca Street which abuts onto

Spencer Hill, formerly accessible also from Sqaq Sannat, built on a

site meaauring approximately three thousand four hundred and

seventy-five square meters (3475m 2 ), being bounded on the North,

West and South-East by government property, which site is bordered

in red on a plan knonwn as Land Drawing one hundred forty bar

nintey-two (140/92) attached to a deed in the records of Notary Dr.

Vincent Miceli on the seventh (7th) day of October one thousand nine

hundred and ninety-two (1992), as subject to the annual and

temporary ground-rent of ten thousand five hundred and five Euro

and fifty seven cents (€10,505.57), payable yearly in advance on the

seventh (7th) day of October of each year.
