Housing Authority (Transfer of Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2017
IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 12 of the Housing
Authority Act, the President of Malta has made the following order:-
The title of this order is the Housing Authority (Transfer of Citation.
Assets) (No. 2) Order, 2017.
The property described in article 4 of this order is hereby Specified
specified for the purpose of article 12 of the Housing Authority Act. property.
The property specified in article 2 of this order shall be Appointed day.
transferred and vest in the Housing Authority as provided in the
aforesaid article with effect from the 20th of March, 2017.
The property referred to in article 2 of this order is the Description of
specified
following, that is to say

(1)
A block, known as Block 1A consisting of two flats
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
72760 and 72761 respectively in Ta’ Paris, Triq L Casolani,
Birkirkara. This block is bounded on the North-East by Triq L
Casolani, on the North-West by Triq il-Girasol and on the
South-East by Triq G Grech Delicata. This block falls on
Government property formerly part of Tenement bearing
number 51057 and the whole block is shown edged in red and
marked “BLOCK 1A” on plan P.D. 2017_0136. (HAA130/
2016).

A block, known as Block C2, Flats 1 to 8
consisting of eight flats, of which three are being excluded from
the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal
notice, in Ta’ Paris, Triq Fonsu Maria Galea, Birkirkara. This
block is bounded on the North-East by Triq Fonsu Maria Galea,
on the North-West by Triq Olaf Gollcher and on the South-East
by a public passage. Flat numbered 1 is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 67205 and flats
numbered 4 to 7 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 67208 to 67211. This block falls on
Government property formerly part of Tenement bearing
number 51057 and the whole block is shown edged in red and
marked “BLOCK C2” on plan P.D. 2017_0082. (HAA 93/
2016).

A block, known as Block C2, Flats 9 to 16
consisting of eight flats, of which three are being excluded from
the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal
notice, in Ta’ Paris, Triq Olaf Gollcher, Birkirkara. This block is
bounded on the North-East by Government property, on the
North-West by Triq Olaf Gollcher and on the South-East by a
public passage. Flats numbered 10 and 11 are registered with
the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67214 and
67215 respectively and flats numbered 14 to 16 are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 67218 to
67220. This block falls on Government property formerly part
of Tenement bearing number 51057 and the whole block is
shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK C2” on plan P.D.

A block, known as Block C4, Flats 1 to 8
consisting of eight flats of which four are being excluded from
the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal
notice, in Ta’ Paris, Triq Fonsu Maria Galea, Birkirkara. This
block is bounded on the North-East by Triq Fonsu Maria Galea,
on the South-West by Government property and on the South-
East by a public passage. Flat numbered 2 is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 66981 and flats
numbered 6 to 8 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 66985 to 66987. This block falls on
Government property formerly part of Tenement bearing
number 51057 and on land acquired by Deed No. 199/77/G
dated 28 th September 1977 and by Deed No. 363/74 dated 6 th
November 1974, both in the acts of Notary A. Grech. The whole
block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK C4” on plan
P.D. 2017_0109. (HAA 95/2016).

A block, known as Block C4, Flats 9 to 16
consisting of eight flats of which three are being excluded from
the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous legal
notice, in Ta’ Paris, Triq Fonsu Maria Galea, Birkirkara. This
block is bounded on the North-East by Government property
and on the North-West and on the South-East by a public
passage. Flats numbered 9 and 10 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66988 and 66989
respectively, flats numbered 12 and 13 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 66991 and 66992
respectively and flat numbered 15 is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 66994. This block
falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement
bearing number 51057 and on land acquired by Deed No. 199/
77/G dated 28 th September 1977 in the acts of Notary A. Grech.
The whole block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK
C4” on plan P.D. 2017_0110. (HAA 96/2016).

A house, known as House 4, Row E1, in Ta’ Paris,
Birkirkara and is registered with the Government as Tenement
bearing number 68489. This house is bounded on the South-
West by Triq il-Plejju, on the North-East by a public passage
and on the North-West by property of the Housing Authority or
its successors in title. This house falls on Government property
formerly part of Tenement bearing number 51057 and on land
acquired by Deed No. 97/73 dated 29 th May 1973 in the acts of
Notary A. Grech and is shown edged in red and marked “Hse 4”
on plan HA 459/2016. (HAA 59/2016).

Part of a block, known as Block C consisting of
fifteen dwellings in Triq is-Sofija and Triq il-Pellegrinaġġ,
Bormla. Part of this block is bounded on the North-East by Triq
il-Pellegrinaġġ and on the South-West and on the South-East by
Triq Sofija and the other part of this block is bounded on the
North-West by Triq Dom Mintoff, on the South-East by Triq
Sofija and on the South-West by Government property. In
dwelling numbered 4, flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with
the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63769 and
63770 respectively, dwellings numbered 5 and 6 are registered
with the Government as Tenements 63771 and 63772
respectively, in dwelling numbered 7, flats numbered 1 and 2
are registered with the Government as Tenements bearing
numbers 63773 and 63774 respectively, in dwelling numbered
9, flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 63776 and 63777 respectively,
dwellings numbered 10 to 13 are registered with the
Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63778 to 63781, in
dwelling numbered 16, flats numbered 1 and 2 are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63785 and
63786 respectively and dwelling numbered 17 is registered with
the Government as Tenements bearing number 63787. This
block falls on Government property acquired by President’s
Declaration No. 63 dated 23rd January 2012 and is shown edged
in red on plan P.D. 2017_0081. (HAA 9/2017, 10/2017, HAA

A house, known as House 6 in Triq l-Immakulata,
Bormla and is registered with the Government as Tenement
bearing number 61672. This house overlies property of the
Housing Authority or its successors in title and is bounded on
the North-West and on the South-East by Government property
and on the North-East by Triq l-Immakulata. This house falls on
formerly unregistered Government property and is shown edged
in red on plan HA 153/2017. (HAA 60/2016).

A block, known as Block 1 consisitng of eighteen
dwellings of which two are being excluded from the transfer as
they were already transferred by a previous legal notice and
excluding the subsoil, in Triq l-Arċisqof Mattei, Triq il-Vittmi
tal-Gwerra, Misraħ il-Papa Benedittu XV, Triq il-Ħabs l-Antik,
Isla. This block is bounded on the North-East by Triq l-Arċisqof
Mattei, on the South-West by Triq il-Vittmi tal-Gwerra and on
the South-East by Triq il-Ħabs l-Antik. Dwellings numbered 1
to 10 are registered with the Govenrment as Tenements bearing
numbers 62563 to 62572, dwellings numbered 12 to 14 are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
62574 to 62576, dwelling number 16 is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 62578, dwelling
number 22 is registered with the Government as Tenement
bearing number 62584 and dwelling number 24 is registered
with the Government as Tenement bearing number 62586. This
block falls on Government property acquired by President’s
Declaration No. 982 dated 22nd November 2006 and is shown
edged in red and marked on “BLOCK 1” on plan P.D.
2017_0073. (HAA 140/2016).
(10) A block, known as Block A, Entrance 1 consisting
of eight flats of which two are being excluded from the transfer
as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in
Triq Sir Ugo Mifsud, Lija. This block is bounded on the South-
West by Government property, on the North-West by Triq Sir
Ugo Mifsud and on the North-East by a public passage. Flats
numbered 1 to 4 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 67861 to 67864 and flats numbered
6 and 7 are registered with the Government as Tenements
bearing numbers 67866 and 67867 respectively. This block falls
on Government property formerly part of Tenement bearing
number 50192 and is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK
A Ent.1” on plan P.D. 2017_0126. (HAA 7/2017).
(11) A block, known as Block A, Entrance 2 consisting
of eight flats of which four are being excluded from the transfer
as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice and
two washrooms in Triq Sir Ugo Mifsud, Lija. This block is
bounded on the South-East by a public passage, on the North-
West by Triq Sir Ugo Mifsud and on the North-East by
Government property. Flats numbered 2 is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 67854, flats
numbered 4 and 5 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 67856 and 67857 respectively, flat
numbered 8 is registered with the Government as Tenement
bearing number 67860 and the two washrooms are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers E20051
and E20052. This block falls on Government property formerly
part of Tenement bearing number 50192 and is shown edged in
red and marked “BLOCK A Ent.2” on plan P.D. 2017_0127.

(12) Plots, known as Plots 97 to 120 and 131 to 134 in
Ta’ Farzina Housing Estate, Qormi. Plots 103 to 120 and 131 to
134 are bounded on the South in part by Triq ir-Rignu and in
part by property in the course of acquisition by the Government,
on the East by Triq id-Dragun and on the North by Triq il-Plejju.
Plots 97 to 102 are bounded on the West by Government
property, on the East by private property and on the North by
Triq ir-Rignu. These plots fall on Government property acquired
by President’s Declaration No. 536 dated 11th June 2015, by
Schedule of Deposit No. 167/2003 and by Deed No. 62/81G
dated 29th April 1981 in the acts of Notary A. Grech. Plots 103
to 120 and 131 to 134 are shown edged in red and marked “A”
and Plots 97 to 102 are shown edged in red and marked “B”,
both on plan P.D. 9_82_20. (HAM 957/78 Vol. II).
(13) A block, known as Block 10 consisting of eight
flats of which six are being excluded from the transfer as they
were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq il-
Ġnien, Qormi. This block is bounded on the South-West by Triq
il-Ġnien and on the North-East and on the South-East by
property of the Housing Authority or its successors in title. Flats
numbered 3 and 7 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 64230 and 64234 respectively. This
block falls on Government property formerly part of Tenement
bearing number 51197 and is shown edged in red and marked
“BLOCK 10” on plan P.D. 2016_1310_A. (HAA 113/2016).
(14) A block, known as Block 1 consisting of eight
dwellings of which five are being excluded from the transfer as
they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq
Għeriexem, Rabat, Malta. These dwellings are bounded on the
North-West by Triq Għeriexem, on the South-West by a public
passage and on the South-East by a public open space. Dwelling
numbered 3 is registered with the Government as Tenement
bearing number 63826 and dwellings numbered 7 and 8 are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
63830 and 63831 respectively. This block falls on Government
property formerly part of Tenement bearing number 50422 and
the whole block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK 1”
on plan P.D. 2017_0128 (HAA 70/2016).
(15) A block, known as Block 3 consisting of eight
dwellings of which five are being excluded from the transfer as
they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in Triq
Għeriexem, Rabat, Malta. These dwellings are bounded on the
North-West by Triq Għeriexem, on the South-West by a public
passage and on the South-East by a public open space. Dwelling
numbered 2 is registered with the Government as Tenement
numbered 63973 and dwellings numbered 6 and 7 are registered
with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers 63977 and
63978 respectively. This block falls on Government property
formerly part of Tenement bearing number 50422 and the whole
block is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK 3” on plan
P.D. 2017_0142 (HAA 72/2016).
(16) Two blocks, known as Blocks 4 and 5 consisting of
twenty-two dwellings of which seventeen are being excluded
from the transfer as they were already transferred by a previous
legal notice, in Triq Għeriexem, Rabat, Malta. These dwellings
are bounded on the North and on the West by a public open
space and on the South by Triq Doni. Dwellings numbered 1, 7
and 10 in Block 4 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 64346, 64352 and 64355
respectively. Dwellings numbered 1 and 12 in Block 5 are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
64356 and 64367 respectively. These blocks fall on Government
property formerly part of Tenement bearing number 50422 and
on land acquired by Deed No. 171/67 dated 10th June 1967 in
the acts of Notary A. Attard and by Deed No. 222/78/G dated
20th September 1978 in the acts of Notary A. Grech and are
shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK 4 & 5” on plan P.D.
2017_0122. (HAA 73/2016).
(17) A house, known as House 8 in Vjal il-Ħaddiem,
Rabat, Malta and is registered as Tenement bearing number
67304. This house is bounded on the South-West by a public
open space, on the South-East by property of the Housing
Authority or its successors in title and on the North-East by Vjal
il-Ħaddiem. This house falls on Government property formerly
part of Tenement bearing number 80016 and is shown edged in
red on plan HA 705/2016. (HAA 48/2015).
(18) A house, known as No.6 (formerly House 3, Row
6) in Triq ir-Rand, San Gwann and is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 65089. This house is
bounded on the North-West and on the South-East by property
of the Housing Authority or its successors in title and on the
North-East by Triq ir-Rand. This house falls on Government
property acquired by Deed No. 162/66 dated 18th June 1966 in
the acts of Notary Attard and is shown edged in red on plan HA
1106/2015. (HAA 142/2014).
(19) A block, known as Block 1, Entrance A consisting
of eight flats of which five are being excluded from the transfer
as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in
Triq Ramija, Siġġiewi. This block is bounded on the South-West
by a public passage off Triq ir-Ramija, on the North-West by
Triq l-Għid and on the North-East by a public passage. Flats
numbered 3, 5 and 7 are registered with the Government as
Tenements bearing numbers 68695, 68697 and 68699
respectively. This block falls on Government property formerly
part of Tenement bearing number 50687 and on land acquired
by Deed No. 246/76 dated 4th August 1976 and by Deed No.
278/75 dated 30th September 1975, both in the acts of Notary
A. Grech and is shown edged in red and marked “BLOCK 1
Ent. A” on plan P.D. 2017_0134. (HAA 68/2016).
(20) A block, known as Block 1, Entrance B consisting
of eight flats of which two are being excluded from the transfer
as they were already transferred by a previous legal notice, in
Triq Ramija, Siġġiewi. This block is bounded on the South-West
by a public passage off Triq Ramija and on the South-East and
on the North-East by a public passage. Flats numbered 3 to 8 are
registered with the Government as Tenements bearing numbers
68703 to 68708. This block falls on Government property
formerly part of Tenement bearing number 50687 and on land
acquired by Deed No. 246/76 dated 4th August 1976 and by
Deed No. 278/75 dated 30th September 1975, both in the acts of
Notary A. Grech and is shown edged in red and marked
“BLOCK 1 Ent. B” on plan P.D. 2017_0140. (HAA 69/2016).
(21) Plots, known as Plots 1 to 20 and 22 to 32 in Ta’
Dun Housing Estate, Xagħra. Plots 1 to 9 and 24 to 32 are
bounded on the South-East by Triq Ta’ Gajdoru, on the North-
East by a public road and on the North-West by Triq Qasam ta’
Dun Anton. Plots 10 to 20 and 22 and 23 are bounded on the
South-East by Triq Ta’ Gajdoru, on the North-East by a public
road and on the North-West in part by Triq Qasam ta’ Dun
Anton and in part by Government property. These plots fall on
Government property acquired by President’s Declaration No.
709 dated 19th August 2015. Plots 1 to 9 and 24 to 32 are shown
edged in red and marked “A” and Plots 10 to 20 and 22 and 23
are shown edged in red and marked “B”, both on plan P.D.

(22) A house, known as No. 68 (formerly House 5,
Block 2) in Triq Sciortino, Żebbuġ and is registered with the
Government as Tenement bearing number 64495. This house
underlies property of the Housing Authority or its successors in
title and is bounded on the North and on the South by property
of the Housing Authority or its successors in title and on the
West by Triq Sciortino. This house falls on Government
property acquired by Deed No. 1/401 dated 21st January 1940
in the acts of Notary Clo. Farrugia and is shown edged in red on
plan HA 114/2016. (SSD 163/2015).
(23) A house, known as House 88 (now No. 6) in Triq
il-Marrubja, Żejtun and is registered with the Government as
Tenement bearing number 68821. This house is bounded on the
North-East and on the South-West by property of the Housing
Authority and its successors in title and on the South-East by
Triq il-Marrubja. This house falls on Government property
acquired by Schedule of Deposit No. 394/94 dated 3rd May
1994 and is shown edged in red on plans HA 941/2016 and HA
