TRAFFIC REGULATION ORDINANCE

(CAP. 65)

Vehicle Access Zones (Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016

IN exercise of the powers conferred by article 54 of the Traffic

Regulation Ordinance, the Minister for Transport and Infrastructure,

after consultation with the Authority for Transport in Malta, has made

the following regulations:-

(1) The title of these regulations is the Vehicle Access

Zones (Control) (Amendment) Regulations, 2016, and these

regulations shall be read and construed as one with the Vehicle

Access Zones (Control) Regulations, hereinafter referred to as "the

principal regulations".

(2) These regulations shall be deemed to have come into force

on the 1st January, 2016.

For paragraph (m) of regulation 6 of the principal

regulations there shall be substituted the following

"(m) electric motor vehicles and hybrid vehicles,".
